(l to r. Emmaline van Keulen, Mr. Lawrence, Ronin, Giovanni d'Allessandro)
Giovanni d'Alessandro - Mekhet/Lancea Sanctum (Covenant
Head; Childe of Evelyn Prater)
With the Lancea Sanctum now holding the reins of power will Giovanni continue to advocate upon an Invictus led Toronto. The First Estate clearly still reeling from the division caused by Prince Ingrid Jameson’s abdication, and Florian Durand’s contestation of praxis with his sibling for Toronto, the covenant finds itself drawn in opposite directions. For those who keep abreast of the Sanctified movements, the answer could potentially be yes, as d’Alessandro was said to be making regular visitations out to the Durand Manor where he performed Mass – before the Daeva entered the custody of the Chronos Guard.
A welcome guest in the new domain on Toronto’s border, potentially one of the key actors involved getting the Carthians and Ordo Dracul to support Kaine’s praxis seizure, could be demonstrative of the influence (Influential) he continues to enjoy – despite his acquiescence to the Inquisitor-General’s leadership of the covenant during this demonic infestation. More than his more toned down sermons, it is his Dedication to the covenant that is drawing attention, and is cited by some as the true motive behind d’Alessandro’s decision to invest his power in this newcomer. He would give everything of himself if it ensured the Sanctified flourished, and the faith was spread.
The basement of the St. Japheth Chapel rumored to house an extensive occult library collected under Giovanni’s ministrations. Such knowledge can only serve to expand his already impressive acumen (Knowledgeable) as a scholar.
Mr. Lawrence – Mekhet/Ordo Dracul (Covenant Head
of the Ordo Dracul, Keeper of Elysium)
While
the leader of the Dragons and the Master of Elysium these whispers
of mystic treachery suggests that Mr. Lawrence may not have the
same influence he once enjoyed. His willingness to continue walking
a path of his own devising clearly illustrates that he is still
a rather Dedicated man, which some hope could be turned to
the advantage of the court, and Feared for the suggested
power he wields. While question of trust has undermined his influence
there is definitely an Ominous quality to the current circumstances
surrounding Mr. Lawrence, and even back to his strange arrival and
acceptance to the domain some ninety years ago.
Ronin – Mekhet/Ordo Dracul (Reeve, Assistant Keeper –
Security)
While this Ordo Dracul warrior does seem to have little regard for a fair portion of the Court, it must be his ability to comport himself in a Just manner throughout all of his dealings, which has earned him some measure of trust with the Inquisition-General. Enough in fact that Kaine has been apparently able to see past his covenant’s views on the heretical Ordo Dracul practices, and name Ronin to his Reeve office, which he continues to hold during the contestation of Praxis. Feared for his proven prowess, typified by his resolve (Resolute), this neutral Reeve from the Ordo Dracul might prove more troublesome than usual for officiates of such a position.
Emmaline van Keulen – Mekhet/Ordo Dracul
Kindred
often see the Ordo Dracul as a collection of kindred focused solely
upon matters of strange occult, and lines of power. Emmaline is
one of those few kindred capable of translating the eccentric studies
of the Dragons into what the court would see as more useful information
regarding the layout of the domain, the best locations to find certain
object, or even the best ‘unknown’ feeding spots that
exist out there. For being able to provide such she is regarded
as a Knowledgeable member of the court, but she has also
in recent nights proven herself Reliable after hosting the
court during the initial nights of Prince Jameson’s Praxis
Seizure from her sire.
Deniz Kaya Erdogan – Mekhet/Lancea Sanctum (Inquisitor; Childe of Roslyn Beran)
One of the pair Inquisitors who recently arrived within the domain Deniz, while very little is still known about him, is believed a Well-Connected member of the Sanctified due the current political make up of the Lancea Sanctum. Governed by Inquisitor-General Kaine many of the Court have surmised that a shift must have occurred; transitioning the covenant away from the more clerical leanings represented by Archbishop Giovanni d’Alessandro to a more militaristic Inquisition.
