In
the nights after the attempted destruction of the Elysium, Mortimer
found his way back into the good graces of the Invictus. That is,
the Invictus lead by Ingrid Jameson who seized power shortly after
the attempt. The braggart of the group, the young kindred often
found himself being publicly chastised by Eliza King. Mortimer,
for a while, seemed to have hit a stride working as bouncer at Privilege,
helping remind kindred about the take out policy at the club instituted
by the owner Matthew Steward. While not truly liked by many, his
antics nonetheless will be missed by a majority of the court.
